Anyone have a good recommendation for a live streaming production company for broadcasting a WordCamp?

I’m going to ping Ryan and see if he knows anyone.

      Hey, Brandon.

I’ve only received video from two streaming providers so far. One of them covered WordCamp Netherlands, so my guess is that won’t help. The other is Blaze Streaming Media. Joe from Blaze did the video production for WordCamp Seattle and Portland last year.

I don’t know what the experience was like from the organizers’ standpoint, but the video we received was quite nice.

I can chat with some friends up here, there working on video production. Not sure how it will work out, but there planning on doing some live streams for a conference in LA, just after WCOC. So I can’t tell you if there any good, or as cool as the live stream in Seattle and Protland.

@Beau – I’m still looking forward to having you present at wcoc. Now that we’ve locked down a date is there any chance I can get the powers that be at Automattic to bring you down for the weekend?

Sorry, completely missed this, but replied to your tweet a minute ago 😉 Looking to see what the schedule is like and then will let you know.

Frosty, well done today at WordCamp LA. Seemed like it went pretty smooth. How was everything from your perspective? Maybe we can connect tomorrow at developer day and I can pick your brain a bit.

How do you go about identifying good speakers who are local? I’ve been monitoring Twitter for people talking WordPress in my local area and it’s hit and miss. Also, if you have a “local WordPress celeb” how do you begin the conversation about having them speak at your conference?

Hey WordCampers. I’m just getting started planning for WordCamp Orange County (California) in early 2010. I’m looking forward to hearing all of your success stories.

Hi from Brasil, I think you’re in the right track, Brandon, since you’re starting so early. I wrote four big posts about my experience on my blog, unfortunately it’s in portuguese, I don’t think it helps you :).
